City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />August 27, 2019 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br /> 1 <br />Motion by Councilmember Jenson, seconded by Councilmember Randle, to approve Second 2 <br />Reading of Ordinance 2019-08; an Ordinance Amending Sections 155.03, 155.21, and 155.22 of 3 <br />the Sign Ordinance. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 6 <br /> 7 <br />VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. 8 <br /> 9 <br />City Manager Casey reported that September 2 is the last day to sign up for the Police Academy. 10 <br />The Police Department has a medicine drop-off box. There is a new push notification group for 11 <br />the 2020 street reconstruction project. Last week, the Planning Commission recommended 12 <br />approval of a 460-unit multi-family complex at the former WalMart site. He thanked Cub Foods 13 <br />for providing coffee and donuts for the August 17 Coffee with the Council. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Councilmember Stille asked about the medicine drop-off and how the City was able to do this. 16 <br />Mr. Casey explained the State has created a system for easier disposal of medicines. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Councilmember Jenson stated on August 15, he attended the Ramsey County League Meeting. 19 <br />On August 17, he attended Coffee with the Council and on August 26, he attended the St. 20 <br />Anthony Relief Association meeting. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Councilmember Stille stated on August 17, he attended Coffee with the Council. He encouraged 23 <br />residents to continue to meet with Council during these opportunities. On August 20, he attended 24 <br />the Planning Commission meeting and on August 23, he attended the State Fair. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Councilmember Gray attended the Coffee with the Council on August 17. He also attended the 27 <br />Planning Commission meeting. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Councilmember Randle attended the August 17 Coffee with the Council. On August 20, he also 30 <br />attended the Planning Commission meeting and the State Fair on August 23. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Mayor Faust also attended the State Fair on August 23. He met with the Lt. Governor and 33 <br />Commissioner Steve Kelley. 34 <br /> 35 <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. 36 <br /> 37 <br />No one appeared to address the Council. 38 <br /> 39 <br />IX.
