City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />September 24, 2019 <br />Page 5 <br />1 <br />2 Councilmember Randle stated he attended a function on September 13d' with St. Anthony <br />3 Village for Equity and Community (SAVEC), and Racial Equity Minnesota was a part of it. <br />4 This was a community -wide event to get the community together for conversations with each <br />5 other. The speaker that night, Jodi Farr, was very good and brought a lot to the table. He <br />6 indicated he came out of the meeting a little bit wiser with a different perception. He also <br />7 attended the Worksession and Joint meeting with the Planning Commission. <br />8 <br />9 Councilmember Jenson stated he attended the Coffee with the Council last Saturday as well. He <br />10 noted there are different topics each time and a good way to communicate and learn about what <br />11 people are looking for. He also attended the Worksession as well. <br />12 <br />13 Councilmember Stille stated he attended the two Worksessions last night as well and reviewed <br />14 the topics discussed at the meetings. <br />15 <br />16 Mayor Faust stated he attended the Worksessions as well. <br />17 <br />18 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />19 <br />20 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />21 are not on the regular agenda. <br />22 <br />23 Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />24 <br />25 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />26 <br />27 Mayor Faust stated the Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidate meeting on October 3rd in <br />28 the Council Chambers. <br />29 <br />30 X.
