He noted the leadership is very much appreciated. He also thanked Mayor Faust for <br />3 the support he has provided for the department and him personally. <br />4 <br />5 Mayor Faust thanked Mr. Larson for the presentation. He was glad that Mr. Larson looks at the <br />6 stockage on what the product mix is in order to protect the public. He thought that was forward <br />7 thinking and being a good steward of the community. <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />11 <br />12 City Manager Casey reported that Friday, November 15th is the last day to submit applications <br />13 for those interested in serving either on the Planning Commission or the Parks and <br />14 Environmental Commission. <br />15 <br />16 Councilmember Gray stated he attended the meetings of the North Suburbs Communication <br />17 Commission and Access Corporation on November 7th <br />18 <br />19 Councilmember Jenson stated he attended the Ramsey County Local League of Governments <br />20 Executive Board Meeting on October 24th. He indicated following that meeting was the SCALE <br />21 presentation. He noted this was a very interesting approach that SCALE has with collaborative <br />22 type of operations between various cities in Scott County. He stated on October 29th he attended <br />23 the School Board meeting and on November 6th he attended the Ramsey County Local League of <br />24 Governments Executive Board Meeting. He explained what the RCLLG board does. <br />25 <br />26 Councilmember Stille stated he attended the School Board Joint meeting on October 29th and the <br />27 Community Services meeting on November 7th <br />28 <br />29 Mayor Faust stated he attended the School Board Joint Session on October 29th and on October <br />30 30th he attended the Mississippi Watershed Management Goal Setting Retreat in Fridley, MN. <br />31 He indicated on November 5th he met with the County Assessor from Hennepin County. He <br />32 stated property values have remained strong in Hennepin County as well as Anoka County. He <br />33 thought the median was at $320,000-$322,000, which indicates what a high desirability the <br />34 community is and how people want to move to St. Anthony and maintain the housing stock. He <br />35 stated he did attend the November 12th Mississippi Watershed Management Organization <br />36 bimonthly meeting and approved the budget of $5.7 million for the MWMO. <br />37 <br />38 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />39 <br />40 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />41 are not on the regular agenda. <br />42 <br />43 Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />44 <br />45 IX.
