Background <br />The applicant is proposing to redevelop the existing Walmart site, including demolition of <br />the building and parking lot, replacing the current structure with a two-phase multiple <br />family residential project of approximately 496 dwelling units. The development parcels in <br />question are shown on the <br />zoning map below, and are <br />13.1 acres in total area. <br />The project is proposed to be <br />developed in two phases. <br />The Phase 1 apartment <br />building is to be located on <br />the northern one-half of the <br />site and includes 258 units. <br />The Phase 2 building is to be <br />located on the southern one- <br />half of the site and includes <br />238 units.
