REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. 2 <br /> 3 <br />City Manager Casey reported that Friday, December 13, 2019 is the last day for applications for 4 <br />those interested in applying for vacant City Council positions. This is the position being vacated 5 <br />by Councilmember Stille, being elected Mayor and is a two-year term. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Councilmember Jenson stated he participated in the interviews on December 4th for the Parks 8 <br />Commission and as liaison to the St. Anthony Civic Orchestra group, the Christmas Concert is 9 <br />coming up on December 13th in the Community Center at 7:30 p.m. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Councilmember Stille stated he also participated in the interviews for the Parks and Planning 12 <br />Commissions. December 9th, he attended the Regional Council of Mayors Meeting with Mayor 13 <br />Faust and thought it will be a good organization to get onto. There is a lot of knowledge in that 14 <br />room. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Councilmember Gray stated he also participated in the interviews. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Councilmember Randle stated he also participated in the interview process. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Mayor Faust stated he was also at the interviews. He reviewed what the Regional Council of 21 <br />Mayors is comprised of. He thought Councilmember Stille will do well in that group. 22 <br /> 23 <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that 26 <br />are not on the regular agenda. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the meeting. 29 <br /> 30 <br />IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Mayor Faust explained December 11th the Holiday Train will be in town. He indicated the 33 <br />December 24th City Council meeting will be cancelled. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Mayor Faust presented a plaque to Councilmember Gray for his 15 years of service on the City 36 <br />Council. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Councilmember Gray indicated it has been an honor and privilege to service the City of St. 39 <br />Anthony in this manner and he was honored that the community has let him be in this position 40 <br />for fifteen years. He stated it has been a privilege to work with the City employees, which are an 41 <br />outstanding group of people and are professionals and focused on service. He also thanked the 42 <br />City Council Members and individual department managers in the City. 43 <br /> 44 <br />Councilmember Stille presented Mayor Faust with a plaque and symbolic gavel. He stated he 45 <br />has learned a lot from Mayor Faust over the past sixteen years. He reviewed Mayor Faust’s’ 28 46 <br />18
