City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />December 10, 2019 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />Ms. Napoline explained in general about eighty percent of the charging by owners is done at 1 <br />home and the remaining twenty percent is done out and about. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Councilmember Stille asked what level charger is used in the cities that have them. Ms. 4 <br />Napoline indicated it is usually level 2 chargers. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Councilmember Jenson asked what the difference was between the units. Ms. Napoline 7 <br />explained the level one versus level two chargers to the Council. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Councilmember Jenson asked where level three chargers are usually located. Ms. Napoline 10 <br />indicated those chargers are typically off of interstates and are usually very expensive. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Councilmember Gray asked what City is the most advanced on fleet use and what type of 13 <br />vehicles are being seen. Ms. Napoline indicated she has not seen any cities specifically using 14 <br />police vehicles, but Faribault and Woodbury have replaced a lot of their work vehicles with 15 <br />EV’s. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Mayor Faust once again thanked Ms. Napoline for the presentation. 18 <br /> 19 <br />C. Resolution 19-095; a Resolution Approving the 2020 Appointments of Planning 20 <br />Commissioners and the Chair and Vice Chair. 21 <br /> 22 <br />City Manager Casey reviewed the resolution and requested the City Council approve the 23 <br />resolution of 2020 appointments and appointing the Chair and Vice Chair to the Planning 24 <br />Commission. He noted there were two vacancies. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution 27 <br />19-095; a Resolution Approving the 2020 Appointments of Planning Commissioners and the 28 <br />Chair and Vice Chair. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Mayor Faust thanked Commissioners Papatola and Bartel for their six years each service. 33 <br /> 34 <br />D.
