REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />3 <br />4 City Manager Casey reported that Friday, December 13, 2019 is the last day for applications for <br />5 those interested in applying for vacant City Council positions. This is the position being vacated <br />6 by Councilmember Stille, being elected Mayor and is a two-year term. <br />7 <br />8 Councilmember Jenson stated he participated in the interviews on December 4th for the Parks <br />9 Commission and as liaison to the St. Anthony Civic Orchestra group, the Christmas Concert is <br />10 coming up on December 13th in the Community Center at 7:30 p.m. <br />11 <br />12 Councilmember Stille stated he also participated in the interviews for the Parks and Planning <br />13 Commissions. December 9th, he attended the Regional Council of Mayors Meeting with Mayor <br />14 Faust and thought it will be a good organization to get onto. There is a lot of knowledge in that <br />15 room. <br />16 <br />17 Councilmember Gray stated he also participated in the interviews. <br />18 <br />19 Councilmember Randle stated he also participated in the interview process. <br />20 <br />21 Mayor Faust stated he was also at the interviews. He reviewed what the Regional Council of <br />22 Mayors is comprised of. He thought Councilmember Stille will do well in that group. <br />23 <br />24 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />25 <br />26 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />27 are not on the regular agenda. <br />28 <br />29 Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the meeting. <br />30 <br />31 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />32 <br />33 Mayor Faust explained December 11th the Holiday Train will be in town. He indicated the <br />34 December 24th City Council meeting will be cancelled. <br />35 <br />36 Mayor Faust presented a plaque to Councilmember Gray for his 15 years of service on the City <br />37 Council. <br />38 <br />39 Councilmember Gray indicated it has been an honor and privilege to service the City of St. <br />40 Anthony in this manner and he was honored that the community has let him be in this position <br />41 for fifteen years. He stated it has been a privilege to work with the City employees, which are an <br />42 outstanding group of people and are professionals and focused on service. He also thanked the <br />43 City Council Members and individual department managers in the City. <br />44 <br />45 Councilmember Stille presented Mayor Faust with a plaque and symbolic gavel.
