REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. 3 4 City Manager Casey reported that Friday, December 13, 2019 is the last day for applications for 5 those interested in applying for vacant City Council positions. This is the position being vacated 6 by Councilmember Stille, being elected Mayor and is a two-year term. 7 8 Councilmember Jenson stated he participated in the interviews on December 4th for the Parks 9 Commission and as liaison to the St. Anthony Civic Orchestra group, the Christmas Concert is 10 coming up on December 13th in the Community Center at 7:30 p.m. 11 12 Councilmember Stille stated he also participated in the interviews for the Parks and Planning 13 Commissions. December 9th, he attended the Regional Council of Mayors Meeting with Mayor 14 Faust and thought it will be a good organization to get onto. There is a lot of knowledge in that 15 room. 16 17 Councilmember Gray stated he also participated in the interviews. 18 19 Councilmember Randle stated he also participated in the interview process. 20 21 Mayor Faust stated he was also at the interviews. He reviewed what the Regional Council of 22 Mayors is comprised of. He thought Councilmember Stille will do well in that group. 23 24 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. 25 26 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that 27 are not on the regular agenda. 28 29 Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the meeting. 30 31 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. 32 33 Mayor Faust explained December 11th the Holiday Train will be in town. He indicated the 34 December 24th City Council meeting will be cancelled. 35 36 Mayor Faust presented a plaque to Councilmember Gray for his 15 years of service on the City 37 Council. 38 39 Councilmember Gray indicated it has been an honor and privilege to service the City of St. 40 Anthony in this manner and he was honored that the community has let him be in this position 41 for fifteen years. He stated it has been a privilege to work with the City employees, which are an 42 outstanding group of people and are professionals and focused on service. He also thanked the 43 City Council Members and individual department managers in the City. 44 45 Councilmember Stille presented Mayor Faust with a plaque and symbolic gavel.
