City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />December 10, 2019 <br />Page 7 <br />1 Ms. Napoline explained in general about eighty percent of the charging by owners is done at <br />2 home and the remaining twenty percent is done out and about. <br />3 <br />4 Councilmember Stille asked what level charger is used in the cities that have them. Ms. <br />5 Napoline indicated it is usually level 2 chargers. <br />6 <br />7 Councilmember Jenson asked what the difference was between the units. Ms. Napoline <br />8 explained the level one versus level two chargers to the Council. <br />9 <br />10 Councilmember Jenson asked where level three chargers are usually located. Ms. Napoline <br />11 indicated those chargers are typically off of interstates and are usually very expensive. <br />12 <br />13 Councilmember Gray asked what City is the most advanced on fleet use and what type of <br />14 vehicles are being seen. Ms. Napoline indicated she has not seen any cities specifically using <br />15 police vehicles, but Faribault and Woodbury have replaced a lot of their work vehicles with <br />16 EV's. <br />17 <br />18 Mayor Faust once again thanked Ms. Napoline for the presentation. <br />19 <br />20 C. Resolution 19-095; a Resolution Approving the 2020 Appointments of Planning <br />21 Commissioners and the Chair and Vice Chair. <br />22 <br />23 City Manager Casey reviewed the resolution and requested the City Council approve the <br />24 resolution of 2020 appointments and appointing the Chair and Vice Chair to the Planning <br />25 Commission. He noted there were two vacancies. <br />26 <br />27 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution <br />28 19-095; a Resolution Approving the 2020 Appointments of Planning Commissioners and the <br />29 Chair and Vice Chair. <br />30 <br />31 Motion carried 5-0. <br />32 <br />33 Mayor Faust thanked Commissioners Papatola and Bartel for their six years each service. <br />34 <br />35 D. Resolution 19-096; a Resolution Approving the 2020 Appointments of Parks and <br />36 Environmental Commissioners and the Chair and Vice Chair. <br />37 <br />38 City Manager Casey reviewed the resolution and requested the City Council approve the <br />39 resolution of 2020 appointments and appointing the Chair and Vice Chair to the Parks and <br />40 Environmental Commission. He noted there were three vacancies. <br />41 <br />42 Motion by Councilmember Jenson, seconded by Councilmember Randle, to approve Resolution <br />43 19-096; a Resolution Approving the 2020 Appointments or Parks and Environmental <br />44 Commissioners and the Chair and Vice Chair. <br />45 <br />46 Motion carried 5-0. <br />
