2019 Annual Report • Administration • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota

44

VII. Technology
Metro I-Net
Through an intergovernmental shared services agreement with the City of Roseville, the City of
St. Anthony is a contributing partner of a much larger information technology consortium
collectively referred to as Metro-INET. The Metro-INET network collaborative includes 44
government entities located in the northeast Twin Cities metropolitan area and collectively is
one of the largest municipal networks in the state. The Roseville IT Division, with a staff of 19
full-time staff, supports the daily technology needs of about 1,300 full-time employees, with
another 400 part-time, temporary, seasonal and elected officials that require city email and data
access. As part of this consortium, St. Anthony realizes a number of cost efficiencies through
economies of scale and benefits from advanced technologies that might otherwise be
unaffordable outside this cost sharing program. Additionally the City benefits from a larger
pool of IT employees that can provide continuous support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365
days a year.
COMMUNITY AFFILIATIONS
The City of St. Anthony works closely with several local organizations including:

· Northeast Youth and Family Services
· Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation
· St. Anthony Chamber of Commerce
· St. Anthony Kiwanis
· St. Anthony Historical Society
· St. Anthony New Brighton School District/Community Services
· St. Anthony Sports Boosters
· St. Anthony Villagefest
