2019 Annual Report • Liquor Operations • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota

13 | P a g e

VI. Summary and Looking Ahead
LEGISLATIVE ISSUE
Beer, Wine and Spirits in Grocery and Convenience
Stores
FACILITIES ASSESSMENT
Assess the infrastructure of the buildings and the
need for repairs or replacement items
Assess maintenance needs

2019 IN REVIEW
2019 was an exciting year at St. Anthony Village Wine and Spirits! Sales and profits continue to
increase after a few years of decline and we were honored
to receive many awards and recognitions. We continue to
be profitable in this continually changing market. We will
monitor legislative issues such as allowing the sale of
alcohol in grocery and convenience stores, which could
impact our sales and profitability.
St. Anthony Village Wine and Spirits controls the sale of
alcohol while generating revenue. Without our profits, a
need to reduce budget expenditures or increase fees and
property taxes could occur. Residents benefit from our operation which generates an economic
return on equity and capital, putting taxpayers’ dollars to productive use.
We are committed to our Mission and Vision Statements and believe they will guide us to
improve our operation. Our staff is committed to maintaining a unique retail environment and
market our stores to drive long term customer loyalty. We will continue to work hard by
providing excellent customer service, product selection, competitive pricing while providing
safe, bright and clean stores.
Thank you for your support in 2019 and beyond! We look forward to serving our customers and
residents where 100% of our profit enriches the community! Please contact me if we can assist
you with anything that would provide a better shopping experience for you, your friends and
neighbors. I can be contacted at mike.larson@savmn.com or call me at (612) 782-3455.
