SUSTAINABILITY <br />In 2018, the City was designated as a host site for a MN Green Corps Member. The MN Green <br />Corps Program is an 11-month AmeriCorps program coordinated by the Minnesota Pollution <br />Control Agency. We were fortunate to welcome Minette Saulog for the 2018-2019 program year, <br />which was completed in August of 2019. This marked the third time St. Anthony has been <br />selected as a host site. <br /> <br />2019 SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES <br /> 2019 Rain Barrel Workshop <br /> Annual Spring Clean Up Day: 203 <br />residents visited (5/4/19) <br /> Fix-It-Clinic: 60 attendees brought in 99 <br />items with a fix rate of 87%, diverting 663 <br />lbs of waste <br /> Tech Dump: 3,444 lbs of electronic waste <br />properly recycled (10/26/19) <br /> GreenStep Cities Step 5: In 2019, the City <br />once again achieved this highest level <br />possible in the program, and continues to <br />monitor and track best management practices to maintain Step 5 recognition status.
