It does cause problems with the City’s life 1 <br />stations and increases the chance of sewer backups as well. 2 <br /> 3 <br />City Manager Casey announced there will be some changes to the liquor operations. Effective, 4 <br />Saturday, March 21st, the Silver Lake Village store will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 5 <br />Monday through Saturday and closed Sundays. The Market Place store will be temporarily 6 <br />closed until further notice. The City will also continue limiting the presence of no more than 7 <br />twelve customers at a time into the store. This will be maintained as long as possible. He 8 <br />suggested residents to keep track of existing hours by looking on the City web page. 9 <br /> 10 <br />City Manager Casey indicated the City will not be applying late fees to the first and second 11 <br />quarter of utility billing. City Hall is staffed and will maintain a full staff, but he asked that 12 <br />residents could either email or call if City services are needed. Staff will be very quick and 13 <br />responsive to resident needs and respectfully asked the residents to keep social distancing and 14 <br />maintaining not having person to person contact if possible. 15 <br /> 16 <br />City Manager Casey stated the entire staff appreciates the City’s support and understanding 17 <br />during this time. The staff has done an amazing job and their dedication to the City is definitely 18 <br />evident every day. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Mayor Stille thanked all of City staff for their hard work during this emergency and if staff needs 21 <br />any additional resources to let the City Council and they will make sure whatever is needed is 22 <br />provided.
