This redevelopment project was initiated in 2005, as a redevelopment of <br />the Apache Plaza area, and has included several individual TIF-assisted projects. The proceeds <br />from the TIF District have been used for a wide variety of expenses, including land acquisition <br />and assembly, demolition, environmental clean-up, and relocation costs, as well as for utility <br />and road installations. The individual projects in the District are as follows: <br /> <br />• The Landings mixed income apartments <br />261 units with 20% affordable to persons at or below 50% of AMI <br />(52 units affordable, no age restrictions) (other units are market rate) <br />• Silver Lake Condos – 130 units (market rate) <br />• Silver Lake Town homes – 26 Units (market rate) <br />• The Legends of Silver Lake <br />172 units 100% affordable to Seniors (55+) at or below 60% of AMI <br />(senior only building) <br />• Doran Silver Lake Village – 497 units (market rate) <br /> <br />As redevelopment, affordability was not a required factor in the Silver Lake Village area. <br />
