City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />September 22, 2020 <br />Page 5 <br />1 Councilmember Jenson stated on September 11, 2020 he attended the Ramsey County Local <br />2 League of Governments and Board of Directors meeting. He explained he was also a member of <br />3 Metro Cities and Governor Walz announced the Blue -Ribbon Committee to study the Met <br />4 Council structure and operations. He reviewed the ad hock/race equity committee policy <br />5 statement that Metro Cities prepared. He noted he also attended the City Council Worksession <br />6 and Coffee with the Council on September 19, 2020. <br />7 <br />8 Mayor Stille stated he attended clean-up day as well. On September 14, 2020 he attended the <br />9 Regional Council of Mayors. He reviewed the Qantas meeting he attended and the topic. He <br />10 noted he also attended Coffee with the Council with Councilmember Jenson. <br />11 <br />12 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />13 <br />14 Mayor Stille invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />15 are not on the regular agenda. <br />16 <br />17 Hearing none, Mayor Stille moved forward with the agenda. <br />18 <br />19 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />20 <br />21 Mayor Stille thanked CJ for his three years working behind the scenes for the City meetings and <br />22 wished him well. CJ stated it has been a pleasure serving the City Council and the City. <br />23 <br />24 Mayor Still stated the Silverwood Visitor Center has reopened and the hours are 9:00am to <br />25 5:00pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday's. <br />26 <br />27 Councilmember Webster reminded the community to sign up to host a block party for Nite to <br />28 Unite on October 6, 2020. <br />29 <br />30 X.
