City Council Regular Meeting Minutes September 22, 2020 Page 5 1 Councilmember Jenson stated on September 11, 2020 he attended the Ramsey County Local 2 League of Governments and Board of Directors meeting. He explained he was also a member of 3 Metro Cities and Governor Walz announced the Blue -Ribbon Committee to study the Met 4 Council structure and operations. He reviewed the ad hock/race equity committee policy 5 statement that Metro Cities prepared. He noted he also attended the City Council Worksession 6 and Coffee with the Council on September 19, 2020. 7 8 Mayor Stille stated he attended clean-up day as well. On September 14, 2020 he attended the 9 Regional Council of Mayors. He reviewed the Qantas meeting he attended and the topic. He 10 noted he also attended Coffee with the Council with Councilmember Jenson. 11 12 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. 13 14 Mayor Stille invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that 15 are not on the regular agenda. 16 17 Hearing none, Mayor Stille moved forward with the agenda. 18 19 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. 20 21 Mayor Stille thanked CJ for his three years working behind the scenes for the City meetings and 22 wished him well. CJ stated it has been a pleasure serving the City Council and the City. 23 24 Mayor Still stated the Silverwood Visitor Center has reopened and the hours are 9:00am to 25 5:00pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday's. 26 27 Councilmember Webster reminded the community to sign up to host a block party for Nite to 28 Unite on October 6, 2020. 29 30 X.
