City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />November 10, 2020 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br /> 1 <br />Mayor Stille stated he attended the Saturday Circle Session and the City also participated in that 2 <br />a little bit as well. He indicated it was a good opportunity to understand different ways of 3 <br />treating conflict and gaining trust with the understanding that trust is needed in order to move 4 <br />forward and get along. He explained he attended the Regional Council of Mayors meeting on 5 <br />November 9th and they talked about the election results. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Councilmember Walker explained on October 29th in light of St. Anthony’s commitment of 8 <br />welcoming diverse residents he contributed and organized a discussion panel that was broadcast 9 <br />on CTV. 10 <br /> 11 <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Mayor Stille invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that 14 <br />are not on the regular agenda. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Hearing none, Mayor Stille moved forward with the agenda. 17 <br /> 18 <br />IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Mayor Stille indicated he received a call since the last meeting from Kelly Doran, developer of 21 <br />Silver Lake Village indicating he closed on his construction loan and will start March 1st. He 22 <br />also received an email about snowplowing. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Mayor Stille explained Jay Hartman, the current Public Works Director, has been a City 25 <br />employee for 43 years. He indicated Mr. Hartman was as dedicated as they come and was a true 26 <br />champion of the City, one who leads St. Anthony and cares deeply about the residents. 27 <br />Unfortunately, Mr. Hartman passed away Friday, November 6th, at the age of 59 and on behalf of 28 <br />the City Council and entire community they offer his wife, Ann, and his family the City’s 29 <br />condolences. To honor Mr. Hartman’s memory he asked that everyone join at this time and 30 <br />conclude the meeting with a moment of silence. 31 <br /> 32 <br />X.
