City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />November 10, 2020 <br />Page 4 <br />1 <br />2 Mayor Stille stated he attended the Saturday Circle Session and the City also participated in that <br />3 a little bit as well. He indicated it was a good opportunity to understand different ways of <br />4 treating conflict and gaining trust with the understanding that trust is needed in order to move <br />5 forward and get along. He explained he attended the Regional Council of Mayors meeting on <br />6 November 9th and they talked about the election results. <br />7 <br />8 Councilmember Walker explained on October 29th in light of St. Anthony's commitment of <br />9 welcoming diverse residents he contributed and organized a discussion panel that was broadcast <br />10 on CTV. <br />11 <br />12 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />13 <br />14 Mayor Stille invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />15 are not on the regular agenda. <br />16 <br />17 Hearing none, Mayor Stille moved forward with the agenda. <br />18 <br />19 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />20 <br />21 Mayor Stille indicated he received a call since the last meeting from Kelly Doran, developer of <br />22 Silver Lake Village indicating he closed on his construction loan and will start March 1st. He <br />23 also received an email about snowplowing. <br />24 <br />25 Mayor Stille explained Jay Hartman, the current Public Works Director, has been a City <br />26 employee for 43 years. He indicated Mr. Hartman was as dedicated as they come and was a true <br />27 champion of the City, one who leads St. Anthony and cares deeply about the residents. <br />28 Unfortunately, Mr. Hartman passed away Friday, November 6th, at the age of 59 and on behalf of <br />29 the City Council and entire community they offer his wife, Ann, and his family the City's <br />30 condolences. To honor Mr. Hartman's memory he asked that everyone join at this time and <br />31 conclude the meeting with a moment of silence. <br />32 <br />33 X.
