1
Charlie Yunker
From:mturner707 <mturner707@yahoo.com>
Sent:Sunday, January 03, 2021 8:29 PM
To:Charlie Yunker
Subject:car wash concerns
Caution: This email originated outside our organization; please use caution.

Dear Mayor Stille and council members,

Regarding the car wash proposed by BLVD Auto Works, there are several health and safety concerns that
should be considered, as a resident/ owner that lives in the 55+ residence next door, Kensington Condominiums
in unit 319.

I am opposed to the construction of a noisy, polluting car wash very close to our building. I am one of many
tenants who have breathing difficulties, heart problems and other medical concerns. My sister and I bought our
unit to insure our retirement would be safe, secure and peaceful. A car wash would disrupt our right to peaceful
enjoyment of the property with traffic, noise and pollution. It will make our balconies unusable, and severely
affect our property values!

Please consider the needs of the neighbors. Even with proposed mitigations, allowing a car wash to be built this
close to a senior residence would be a serious mistake, with negative consequences for years to come.

Our city, with its forward-looking mission and vision, can do much better!

Sincerely,

Mary Jo Turner
Faith Chapman

Sent from MJ's cell phone.

88
