I fear that may <br />soon turn into a major regret should the city allow the proposed car wash adjacent to my bedroom and living <br />room windows to proceed. <br /> <br />I realize that by using their property as a storage and packing lot is an under utilization of their property, but <br />locating a car wash so close to a residential building of senior adults is a bad choice and I am asking the city to <br />deny their request. <br /> <br />The sight of a car wash out my windows is not what concerns me, it is the noise that will come with it along <br />with the smell of the car exhaust from idling automobiles. <br /> <br />Should the car wash be approved I will probably attempt to sell my Condo but I doubt I would have many <br />buyers willing to purchase a home with a noisy car wash outside their windows. <br /> <br /> Thanks for your consideration <br />John LaDuke <br />2601 Kenzie Terrace 308 <br />St. Anthony Mn. 55418 <br /> <br />P.S. If the city decides to approve this car wash, I am requesting that the developer be required to replace the <br />sliders and windows in the 30 Condominiums that will adjoin this car wash in an effort to mitigate some of the <br />noise and exhaust.
