March 3, 2021 <br /> <br />Subject: Notice of Action on Proposed Car Wash 2701 Kenzie Terrace <br /> <br />My name is John Kufus and I reside at 2712 27th Ave. NE. I am one of the property <br />owners who will be most adversely affected by the above proposal. My property is <br />along the alley directly opposite the proposed car wash site. I wish to strongly disagree <br />with the Planning Commission’s decision to approve a conditional use permit to <br />Boulevard Autoworks for the construction of a carwash at 2701 Kenzie Terrace. <br />My concerns are principally: <br />Noise - Car wash doors will continually be open during periods of heavy traffic and <br />therefore provide no mitigation of dryer blower noise. In addition, there will be noise <br />due to vacuum cleaners, idling cars and car radios. <br />Traffic congestion along Kenzie Terrace resulting in blocked alley access. <br />Air Pollution due to idling cars. <br />Decrease in property values due to the above concerns. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br />John A.
