2. Criminal Activity: Soon after I opened my car wash, I observed clear signs of periodic <br />drug dealing at the vacuum stations and parking area to the south side of the building, <br />averaging about one incident a week. (l have also observed many clear instances of <br />drug dealing at two other car washes, both in south Minneapolis.) <br />I immediately began to actively and diligently work to discourage this illegal activity, by <br />proactively speaking with customers whose behavior seemed suspicious. I have also <br />reported suspicious behavior to the police and worked cooperatively with them. <br />After 6 months, in November I started to see the drug dealers operating on 38th Street, <br />one-half block from the car wash, instead of on my property. I am hopeful that my <br />continued diligent efforts will succeed at keeping criminal activity off of my property. <br />l, David M.
