ANTHONY 1 <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 2 <br />JULY 27, 2021 3 <br />4 <br />CALL TO ORDER. 5 <br />6 <br />Mayor Stille called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 7 <br />8 <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 9 <br />10 <br />Mayor Stille invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. 11 <br />12 <br />ROLL CALL. 13 <br />14 <br />Present: Mayor Stille, Councilmembers Jenson, and Randle. 15 <br />Absent: Councilmembers Walker and Webster. 16 <br />Also Present: City Manager Charlie Yunker, Liquor Operations Manager Mike Larson, VillageFest 17 <br />Julianne Hunter, and Sergeant Mike Huddle. 18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 21 <br />ITEMS. 22 <br />23 <br />I.APPROVAL OF JULY 27, 2021 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 24 <br />25 <br />Motion by Councilmember Randle, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City 26 <br />Council Meeting Agenda of July 27, 2021 as presented. 27 <br />28 <br />Motion carried 3-0. 29 <br />30 <br />II.PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITION. 31 <br />32 <br />A.Presentation of 2021 VillageFest33 <br />34 <br />Ms. Julianne Hunter, representing VillageFest, stated they are excited VillageFest will35 <br />occur this year. It will be held August 6-7, 2021. She reviewed the event schedule in36 <br />detail. The parade will be held at 7:30 p.m. on August 6 down St. Anthony Boulevard.37 <br />The schedule ends on Saturday evening. VillageFest is City supported not City funded.38 <br />All funds are raised by the 501c3. Now they are raising funds for next year. Generally,39 <br />funds are donated from local businesses but not as many businesses have participated as40 <br />they have in the past. They are hoping members of the community will help support41 <br />VillageFest. She reviewed the major donors this year: Central Avenue Liquors, Northeast42 <br />Lions, Walters Recycling, Annona Gourmet, Hunters Rock, Castle Danger, Fitness43 <br />Crossroads, Hunt Electric, Village Orthodontics, and St. Anthony Voyagers. The44 <br />schedule can be found on their website at stanthonyvillagefest.com.45 <br />46 <br />Mayor Stille thanked Julianne for her efforts for the past 17-18 years on behalf of the47 <br />City Council and the Community.
