1 <br />A January – June 2020 – 2021 Sales and Profit Comparison was reviewed along with a 2021 2 <br />Sales Comparison showing monthly sales. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Mr. Larson cited the 2021 Accomplishments as: 5 <br />• City Goal Setting Via Zoom. 6 <br />• Liquor Operations Goal Setting. 7 <br />• 2 Complete Physical Inventory Counts. 8 <br />• Social Media Advertising & News Sharing Group. 9 <br />• Online Ordering for Curbside Pick Up. 10 <br />• Strategic Planning Session with MMBA. 11 <br />• Product Samplings. 12 <br />• Implement New Part Time Pay Scale. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Mr. Larson reviewed Where Liquor Operations are now as far as COVID-19 and provided the 15 <br />plan looking ahead in 2021. Diminishing product availability is a big problem. Many of the 16 <br />products ordered do not come for a long time. They are doing the best they can given the current 17 <br />conditions. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Information regarding the Liquor Operations can be found on the City website: www.savmn.com 20 <br />Including event calendar, monthly specials, product requests, store hours, contact information 21 <br />and “Notify Me”, Email & Text Alerts. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Mayor Stille thanked Mike Larson for working through all the issues. Mayor Stille stated he is 24 <br />proud of the liquor stores. The City liquor stores are very customer-focused. 25 <br /> 26 <br />VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. 27 <br /> 28 <br />City Manager Yunker stated the tennis court reconstruction project has been completed and the 29 <br />contractor did a great job. Staff has been keeping track of the MN Department of Natural 30 <br />Resources guidance regarding the drought conditions. Summer sprinkling restrictions are in 31 <br />place in the City. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Councilmember Randle had no report. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Councilmember Jenson stated on July 21 he attended a Kiwanis meeting. On July 23, he attended 36 <br />the Ramsey County Local League of Governments Executive Board Meeting. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Mayor Stille had no report. 39 <br /> 40 <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. 41 <br /> 42 <br />No one appeared to address the City Council during Community Forum. 43 <br /> 44 <br />IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS - NONE. 45 <br /> 46 <br />4
