ANTHONY <br />2 PARKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION MEETING <br />3 SEPTEMBER 13, 2021 <br />4 7:00 p.m. <br />5 <br />I.6 CALL TO ORDER. <br />7 <br />8 Chairperson Bellinger called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />9 <br />II.10 ROLL CALL. <br />11 <br />12 Commissioners Present:Chair Therese Bellinger, Commissioners Michael Guest, and James <br />13 Niemi. <br />14 <br />15 Absent:Commissioner Renee Reed. <br />16 <br />17 Also Present: Citizens for Sustainability Representative Lona Doolan, Pickleball <br />18 Chad Gillard, Public Works Director Jeremy Gumke, City Manager <br />19 Charlie Yunker and School District Representative Cassandra Palmer. <br />20 <br />21 III.APPROVAL OF THE SEPTEMBER 13, 2021 PARKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL <br />22 COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA. <br />23 <br />24 Motion by Commissioner Guest, seconded by Commissioner Niemi, to approve the <br />25 September 13, 2021 Parks and Environmental Commission agenda. <br />26 <br />27 Motion carried unanimously. <br />28 <br />29 IV.APPROVAL OF THE JUNE 7, 2021 REGULAR PARKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL <br />30 COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES. <br />31 <br />32 Commissioner Reed had asked that her comments regarding pickleball and the triangle project <br />33 be separated with a space so they are clear. <br />34 <br />35 Motion by Commissioner Guest, seconded by Commissioner Niemi, to approve June 7, 2021 <br />36 Regular Parks and Environmental Commission Meeting Minutes as amended. <br />37 <br />38 Motion carried unanimously. <br />39 <br />40 V.PRESENTATIONS. <br />41 <br />A.42 Silverwood Park Updates <br />43 <br />44 Ms. Alyssa Baguss, Silverwood Park Supervisor, did not appear at the meeting in person or <br />45 via Zoom but the following is a summary of the power point she submitted prior to the <br />46 meeting. A Field Trip event was held Saturday September 11, 2021 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. <br />47 Celebrating 12 years bringing art and nature together.
