ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 DECEMBER 14, 2021 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Stille called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Stille invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Stille, Councilmembers Jenson, Randle, Walker and Webster. <br />16 Absent:None <br />17 Also Present:City Manager Charlie Yunker, Finance Director Shelly Rueckert, and Police Chief <br />18 Jon Mangseth. <br />19 Guests:St. Anthony High School students Nick Ledford, Tony Favorite, and Sawyer <br />20 Sullivan. <br />21 <br />22 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />23 ITEMS. <br />24 <br />25 I.APPROVAL OF DECEMBER 14, 2021 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />26 <br />27 Motion by Councilmember Randle, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />28 Council Meeting Agenda of December 14, 2021. <br />29 <br />30 Motion carried 5-0. <br />31 <br />32 II.PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />33 <br />34 A.Students in Government Day. <br />35 <br />36 City Manager Yunker stated these students spent the day at City Hall with City Staff and City <br />37 Councilmembers. Copies of the student presentations were included in the City Council packet. <br />38 <br />39 Nick Ledford, St. Anthony High School student, introduced himself. On November 23, he <br />40 visited City Hall and met the representatives of the City Government. He focused his <br />41 presentation on the Police Station which he visited a week later. They had a question-and-answer <br />42 session with Mayor Stille. He thanked the City Government for allowing them to visit City Hall. <br />43 <br />44 Tony Favorite, St Anthony High School student introduced himself. He toured the water works <br />45 system and had no idea how the water works system worked. He toured the Fire Department and <br />46 noted the firefighters need to be physically and mentally strong. They attended the mock City <br />47 Council meeting and he was lucky to be one of the councilmembers. He thanked the Council. <br />48
