City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />December 14, 2021 <br />Page 6 <br />1 Motion by Councilmember Jenson, seconded by Councilmember Randle, to approve Resolution <br />2 21-098 – Ratifying the 2022 Agreement between the International Union of Operating Engineers <br />3 Local No. 49-AFL-CIO Representing the St. Anthony Public Works Department Employees and <br />4 the City of St. Anthony Village. <br />5 <br />6 Motion carried 5-0. <br />7 <br />8 E.Resolution 21-099 - Approving the 2022 Appointments and Appointing the Chair and <br />9 Vice Chair to the Planning Commission. <br />10 <br />11 City Manager Yunker reviewed this resolution is for approving the 2022 appointments and <br />12 appointing the Chair and Vice Chair to the Planning Commission. Planning Commission <br />13 application information was advertised in the Fall 2021 Village Notes and on the City’s website. <br />14 There are two (2) vacancies, and two applications were received and all were interviewed by the <br />15 Mayor and Council on November 15, 2021. The Mayor and City Council individually and City <br />16 Council then agreed by consensus on appointing Jennifer Gaveske and Brian Rude for a three- <br />17 year appointment along with appointing Commissioner Socha as Chair and Commissioner <br />18 Morita as Vice Chair. Staff recommends approval. <br />19 <br />20 Motion by Councilmember Webster, seconded by Councilmember Walker, to approve <br />21 Resolution 21-099 - Approving the 2022 Appointments and Appointing the Chair and Vice Chair <br />22 to the Planning Commission. <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 Motion carried 5-0. <br />26 <br />27 F.Resolution 21-100 - Approving the 2022 Appointments and Appointing the Chair and <br />28 Vice Chair to the Parks and Environmental Commission. <br />29 <br />30 City Manager Yunker reviewed this resolution is for approving the 2022 appointments and <br />31 appointing the Chair and Vice Chair to the Parks & Environmental Commission. Parks & <br />32 Environmental Commission application information was advertised in the Fall 2021 Village <br />33 Notes and on the City’s website. There are three (3) vacancies, and two (2) applications were <br />34 received and all were interviewed by the Mayor and Council on November 15, 2021. The City <br />35 Council agreed by consensus to open applications for the remaining vacancy in early 2022 with a <br />36 goal to appoint a member before the Commission’s first scheduled meeting in March 2022. The <br />37 Mayor and City Council individually and City Council then agreed by consensus on appointing <br />38 Terese Bordeau and Katie Godmare for a three-year appointment along with appointing <br />39 Commissioner Niemi as Chair and Commissioner Reed as Vice Chair. <br />40 <br />41 Motion by Councilmember Walker, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution <br />42 21-100 - Approving the 2022 Appointments and Appointing the Chair and Vice Chair to the <br />43 Parks and Environmental Commission. <br />44 <br />45 Motion carried 5-0. <br />46
