Resolution 21-097 - Ratifying the 2022 Agreement between the Law Enforcement Labor 8 Services, Inc. #186 Local Representing the St. Anthony Police Department Licensed 9 Employees and the City of St. Anthony Village. 10 I I City Manager Yunker reviewed this resolution is ratifying the contract agreement with the police 12 union. This is a three (3) year contract with the St. Anthony Police Department's employees. 13 Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) is set for the first two years with a reopener for wages only 14 in the third year. Health insurance premium changes will continue to be split equally between 15 City and employees. Resolution 21-098 — Ratifying the 2022 Agreement between the International Union of 29 Operating Engineers Local No. 49-AFL-CIO Representing the St. Anthony Public Works 30 Department Employees and the City of St. Anthony Village. 31 32 City Manager Yunker reviewed this resolution is to ratify the contract agreement with the public 33 works union. This is a three (3) year contract with the St. Anthony Public Works Department's 34 employees. Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) is set for the first two years with a reopener for 35 wages only in the third year. Health insurance premium changes will be split equally between 36 City and employees. The union requested additional market adjustments to ensure that all 37 positions were at a comparable level to the department's peers. Management compared the 38 current wages to peer cities and found the request to be justified, and appropriate market 39 adjustments were made. The union also agreed to implement a step system to the Crew Leader 40 positions to help the City absorb wage increases in the future as those positions change over due 41 to anticipated retirements.
