Page 19 <br />corresponding unit costs to be charged to Customers for each item or another method such as cost <br />per vehicle type. <br />11.2.2.Bulky Waste, Appliances, and Electronics <br />By December 1 each year, the Contractor shall submit comprehensive lists of the items to be <br />collected the following year, along with an average cost for the Customer for pick up, as listed in the <br />Price Schedule. <br />The following reports are due on the 15th day of January. <br />11.2.3.Program and Material Report <br />The Contractor shall provide the City an annual program report that will be an overall summary of <br />the program from the previous year. The report should include: <br />1.Total number of Customers. <br />2.Total number of Refuse carts and Recycling carts in service. <br />3.Tons of Refuse, Recycling, Yard Waste, appliances, Electronic Waste, and other Bulky <br />Waste items collected (Recycling should be broken down by commodity) from residential <br />Customers. <br />4.Tons of Refuse, Recycling, appliances, Electronic Waste and other Bulky Waste items e <br />collected (Recycling should be broken down by commodity) from City Buildings, parks <br />facilities, and events. <br />5.Current trends in the solid waste industry that may have an impact on the City’s program. <br />6.Recovery rates (i.e. pounds per household for Recycling). <br />7.Results of the Recycling Composition Analysis, including amount of Contamination as <br />Collected. Set-out and participation rates: <br />a.Number of residential Refuse accounts by service level (cart size, Collection <br />frequency) <br />b.Number of accounts with multiple Refuse carts <br />c.Number of Recycling accounts by service level <br />d.Number of accounts with multiple Recycling carts <br />e.Number of Yard Waste cart subscriptions <br />f.Number of Yard Waste “on-call” or overflow bags set out <br />g.Number of Bulky Waste “on-call” Collections <br />h.Number of accounts with Walk-Up Service <br />8.Hauler Report as submitted to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. <br />9.Efforts Contractor has made to reduce Contaminants as Collected and Process Residuals as <br />well as increase diversion. <br />10.Contractor suggestions to improve the City’s program. <br />11.Recommended public education plan for the next year. <br />12.Any other notable issues or happening over the past year.
