The east softball field has been known for a
wet outfield.
Smaller sized park with a variety of amenities. Parking lot provides enough parking for small events but will
be overloaded if all fields are used for programmed activities. Ballfields and hockey rink are good sizes of
younger youth play.
The Park sits below the elevation of New Brighton Blvd (County Rd 88) which limits traffic noise for most of
the park.
Park Needs & Recommendations
1. Short Term
o Replace pea gravel at play structure with accessible surface.
o Accessible picnic tables, benches, ballfields.
o Accessible parking.
o Additional Wayfinding on Silver Lake Road & 29th Ave
2. Long Term
o Replace Play Structure
o Repave Trails
