It has a large
playground, tennis courts and 1/2 court basketball (not striped). There are
walks and trails from the parking lot leading to the tennis courts on the
west and the play structure to the east. It was busy at time of site visit.
Overall Park Maintenance: Overall, the park is well maintained, though some features are in need of
repair or replacement. Walks showed some cracking. Grass in some
areas is sparse from pedestrian traffic and shade. Some portions of the
ornamental metal fence along 33rd Ave are in need of touch up painting.
Natural Resources/Landscape: There are mature pines, spruce and maples throughout the park. There is
a pond along Silver Lake Road with water fountain.

Overall Park Ranking: 58%

AMENITY RANKINGS

Park Amenity
Name
Overall
Condition
Overall
Design &
Character
Accessibility Age
Considerations
Actual
Points
Total
Possible
Points
Comments
Playground
Equipment
2 2 2 2 8 12 Variety of ages and
conditions.
