Discussions and Conclusions <br />This Phase II ESA was conducted to evaluate the RECs identified for the Site in the 2022 Phase I ESA <br />prepared by WSB. Analytical soil, groundwater, and soil vapor exceedance maps are included as Figure <br />3, Figure 4, and Figure 5. The following discussion and conclusion information is provided: <br />Through field observations and analytical testing, evidence of a release was discovered at boring <br />B-4 at the western portion of the Site. At boring B-4, concentrations of benzene, DRO, and GRO <br />in soil, benzene, 1,2-DCA, DRO, and GRO in groundwater, and 1,3-butadiene in soil vapor were <br />detected above regulatory criteria. The release is potentially associated with the former filling <br />station (Kenzie Company Gas Station) at the Site and/or with the former adjacent drycleaners.
