ORDINANCE 2022-03 <br />7 <br />§150.058 DISCHARGE OF POOL WATER. No person shall discharge or cause <br />to be discharged into the municipal storm drain system any pool, hot tub, or spa <br />water unless dechlorinated to less than one (1) ppm of chlorine. <br />Section 11. Section §150.88 (Building, Housing, and Construction - Definitions) is hereby <br />amended to add the following definitions: <br />DUMPSTER. A non-flexible container which has a holding capacity exceeding <br />five (5) cubic yards and used for temporary storage of special pick-up refuse. A <br />dumpster is a metal, composite or other hard-side container for refuse disposal <br />which exceeds five (5) cubic yards capacity. <br />DUMPSTER, COMPACT. A container which has a holding capacity not <br />exceeding five (5) cubic yards and used for temporary storage of special pick-up <br />refuse. A compact dumpster is a metal, composite or other hard-side container for <br />refuse disposal which does not exceed five (5) cubic yards capacity. <br />DUMPSTER, FLEXIBLE. A flexible container which has a holding capacity not <br />exceeding five (5) cubic yards and used for temporary storage of special pick-up <br />refuse. A flexible dumpster is commonly referred to, or known as, a “dumpster <br />bag,” “soft-side dumpster,” or “waste removal bag” and used in lieu of a metal <br />front or rear-load or roll-off dumpster. <br />FIREPLACE: A fireplace is an architectural structure, within a wall or free- <br />standing, designed to contain a fire. <br />NATIVE VEGETATION: Those non-turf grass indigenous trees, shrubs, <br />wildflowers, grasses and other plants that have naturally adapted themselves to <br />the climate and soils of the area but require cultivation and maintenance to remain <br />viable. <br />NATIVE HABITAT: Specially uncultivated valued and sensitive habitat <br />whereupon native vegetation exists in a pristine state and provides habitat for a <br />variety of species native to the area. Such vegetation shall maintain itself in a <br />stable condition with minimal human intervention. <br />NOXIOUS WEEDS: An annual, biennial, or perennial plant designated by the <br />State Commissioner of Agriculture or the Council as injurious to public health, <br />the environment, public roads, crops, livestock, or other property. <br />POLLINATOR GARDEN: A specific area on the property planted and designed, <br />with specific nectar and pollen producing plants, in a way that attracts pollinating <br />insects known as pollinators. In order for a garden to be considered a pollinator <br />garden, it should provide (but not limited to) the following: various nectar <br />producing flowers, shelter or shelter providing plants for pollinators, avoid the use <br />of pesticides, and place similar flowers close to one another. <br />34
