Resolution 22-060 Approving the Off -Site Gambling License for the Minneapolis NE <br />Lions Club at 3503 Silver Lake Rd NE. <br />City Manager Yunker reviewed the Minneapolis NE Lions Club is applying for an off -site <br />gambling license with the State of Minnesota. A requirement of the State permit application is <br />acknowledge by the local unit of government and allowance of the gambling to take place within <br />City limits. They are requesting the off -site gambling license for VillageFest located at 3503 <br />Silver Lake Rd NE. <br />Motion by Councilmember Walker, seconded by Councilmember Randle, to Approve Resolution <br />22-060 — Approving the Off -Site Gambling License for the Minneapolis NE Lions Club at 3503 <br />Silver Lake Rd NE. <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />C. Goals Update. <br />City Manager Yunker provided an update on the 2022 Annual Goals for the last quarter. <br />Councilmember Walker asked when the water tower project will be completed, and Mr. Yunker <br />stated by the first week of August. <br />Councilmember Jenson stated he appreciates the way the goals report has been reformatted. <br />There were 56 goals and of those 40 have had some action. <br />VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />Councilmember Jenson had no report. <br />Councilmember Walker stated he attended the Interstate Development 28-unit apartment project <br />for a tour. Mayor Stille noted he and Councilmember Jenson also attended. This is a new concept <br />for construction in the area. <br />Mayor Stille stated on June 29 he attended the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization <br />Executive Committee Meeting. On July 11, he attended the Regional Council of Mayors <br />Meeting. The topic of that meeting was Education. Today he attended the Mississippi Watershed <br />Management Organization Board Meeting. <br />City Manager Yunker reminded about the cardboard recycling event on Saturday, July 16 9am — <br />1 p.m. at Public Works. <br />
