Page 13 <br />Waste Carts. <br />7.20.2.Recycling Cart Details <br />Each Household shall receive at least one Recycling Cart that may be obtained at no additional <br />Collection cost. <br />Color and labeling of the Recycling Carts must distinguish them from the Refuse Carts and Yard <br />Waste Carts. <br />7.20.3.Yard Waste Cart Details <br />Each Household can receive one large Yard Waste Cart on a subscription basis. <br />Color and labeling of the Recycling Carts must distinguish them from the Refuse Carts and Yard <br />Waste Carts. <br />7.20.4.Cart Exchange <br />Customers may elect to change Refuse and Recycling Cart sizes or add/remove a Cart once per the <br />calendar year without additional charge. <br />7.21.Extra Services <br />The Contractor shall make available or provide the following extra services, beyond the standard <br />City service. The Customer will contact the Contractor directly to request extra services Collection <br />of the items. Subject to the provisions below, the Contractor shall be responsible for collecting and <br />billing for all service charges and fees for extra services. The payment method and schedule will be <br />left to the discretion of the Contractor but shall be specified in writing to the City. <br />7.21.1.Walk-Up Service <br />Customers with physical limitations shall be entitled to the Walk-Up Service at no additional charge. <br />The Contractor shall determine eligibility for Walk-Up Service, which shall comply with any <br />applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations. <br />7.21.2.Bulky Waste, Appliance and Electronic Collection <br />The Contractor shall provide Bulky Waste, Appliance, and Electronics Collection services as an <br />optional service for Customers upon request. Contractor may, with City approval, license and <br />contract with additional contractors to provide Bulky Waste, Appliance and Electronic Collection <br />services. All Bulky Waste items shall be collected, transported, weighed, and disposed of at a <br />licensed facility. The Collection of any materials with hazardous components will not be allowed in <br />the same vehicle as Refuse Collection. All Electronics, Appliances, tires, or other items regulated by <br />the state shall be collected, transported and recycled or disposed separately in compliance with <br />State Law and the Contractor shall be properly certified to collect Appliances and Electronics in the <br />State of Minnesota. <br />The Customer will contact the Contractor directly to request a Collection of the items. The <br />Contractor shall be responsible for billing and collecting fees. The payment method (pre-payment <br />or pay after the fact) will be left to the discretion of the Contractor but specified in the Price <br />128
