made activities.
Loss of biodiversity
Destruction & deliberate lack of care of what we currently have in plant material & trees knowing
full well the importance of their place toward insurance of clean airy & water. To think that SA had a
chance to “make it right” when Salo ponds were cleared & new filtration was installed 10ish years
ago(?) & we are living with this mess of weeds, with seemingly no one in charge who knows what
they are doing!!!! It is SICK!!!!! NO EXCUSES! How embarrassing! And we have such a good example
of what can be done all around with NewBrighton just one close shining star! So it begs the
question a er many have contacted SA wondering whenwewill make Salo a shining star, why spend
any more money on a survey? It is not that difficult!!! It makes me sick knowing , having connected,
even volunteering. Control issues? Yet no positive controlled results from SA? For years!!!!!!!!!!
Sick!!!!!!! What a waste! Sustainability??? Currently Salo is a fire hazard I shutter at the thought of a
cigarette butt in all those dry weeds. For starters try a controled burn on a totally still day. Get rid of
it , bulldoze the mess & start over with appropriate plant material & care. How about making this the
“gem” that it was intended to be TWICE!
Not having reliable snow in the future for skiing, potential wildfire risk, future pandemics from
melting permafrost
political divisions about this topic
How important is it for St . Anthony Village to meet its goal of reducing city-
wide carbon emissions by 80 percent by 2040?
Very Important 66% (238)
Important 15% (54)
Moderately Important 6% (23)
Slightly Important 2% (7)
Not Important 11% (38)
