Recycling, composting, waste management . Energy efficient appliances, cars (EV chargers?),
walkable and bikable paths with links to Minneapolis bike system.
Anything I'm capable of doing as an old person.
electrification and energy efficiency programs in heating, cooling and transportation; increase
walkability/bikeability over to shopping areas
more solar panels, less food waste, more biking
solar and wind (low impact wind options like a smaller wind option for on top of a house)
Increase home energy efficiency and install solar panels (subsidies to tax breaks would be
extremely helpful!)
Allow dandelions and other landscaping to reduce chemical use that pollutes our water and
environment
Allow dandelions and other landscaping to reduce chemical use that pollutes our water and
environment
Compost , allow the energy company to adjust my thermostat as necessary to try to have a lower
energy expenditure, carpool when I can, use reusable or compostable bags when shopping, and
combine item shipment to reduce delivery trips.
I already combine trips, work from home, reuse rather than buy new and compost . And try to grow
my own food. All the habits my grandmother lived with her whole life.
Nothing
Limit use of water & air conditioning
transition to battery powered lawn equipment , make fewer and more efficient trips in vehicles
Stop mowing completely (easy this year with no rain), eat more locally sourced food, reduce/stop
purchasing from Amazon
The infrastructure that I live in forces me to rely on a car to get basic goods. Change the
infrastructure and I can change my habits
The infrastructure that I live in forces me to rely on a car to get basic goods. Change the
infrastructure and I can change my habits
As a resident I already recycle and compost as much as possible. I take public transportation on
occasion. I could do that more o en.
Compost , receive no junk mail, work from home, native planting, environmental impact assessments
for new development projects
Composting is an easy way to better manage waste, and companies and residents can learn to do it .
Restaurants can eliminate plastic straws and styrofoam. Grocery stores can eliminate plastic bags.
St Anthony is convenient enough of a city that residents can walk or bike to different businesses.
Drive less. Less heating or cooling of house.
We just added solar panels
Drive less o en, use renewable energy devices such as electric lawn mowers
make it more complete so you don't have to go to other cities to run errands. Make necessary things
within walking distance.
drive fewer miles
Bike, walk or take the bus instead of drive.
Reduce car use
Nothing beyond what is already being done.
Stop putting in apartment complexes
A greener house
Make it easier to walk or bike and have access to groceries and businesses within walking distance.
Drive less, compost , use solar power
We try to compost , but the lack of curb -side pickup makes it challenging (we o en have rotting
compost in our garage bc we can't make it to the centralized compost bins at the community
