I would do more to research transportation that will help the issues. <br />I have mobility issues so my choices are limited. Minneapolis and St Paul with all their bike lane <br />moves seem to have forgotten about senior citizens. <br />In order for any of these to be feasible, entities outside of STA need to vastly improve the public <br />transit infrastructure. Anthony makes it <br />extremely difficult to do many of them. <br />My wife and I are senior citizens and are unlikely to be able to do much <br />Consolidate trips/errands <br />I am 80 years old and retired. I certainly walk for exercise. I am not interested in an electric vehicle, <br />using public transportation and haven't biked in a few years. <br />Purchase of E-Bike to extend cycling radius. There's a lot of hills in St Anthony! <br />We already do many of these things, but for reasons of promoting personal health (via exercise) and <br />economic reasons (its more cost effective and productive to work remotely) not the environment . I <br />would certainly not take public transportation for the sake of the environment when it feels unsafe <br />to do so given the increasing rate of crime in our community. <br />I used to take the bus into work (DT Mpls) and since the pandemic, understandably, Metro Transit <br />had reduced routes. As ppl are beginning to commute again, residents have not seen routes return. <br />I hardly go outdoors, much less drive and when I do, I never idle around anywhere. Gas is not cheap <br />nor wear & tear maintenance on vehicles. Electric vehicle manufacture has been underplaying if not <br />hiding the consequences of its production and who can afford an electric vehicle and the challenges <br />of having efficient charging systems available? <br />Need to vote out people who will try to limit our driving. <br />I am not willing. <br />I don't want to be told how to live. <br />Some of the above are not applicable to me such as biking as transpiration mode (I only bike <br />recreationally) and using bike share. I took public transportation for 40+ years when working <br />downtown.
