Changing ways of getting around is very troublesome to elderly and poor people. Electric vehicles
are a joke. They are heavier and will destroy roads, poor people can’t afford and charging them will
cause higher electric bills for people who can’t afford it .
Instead of choosing to put in mixed use, properties are more businesses that would allow me and
my family to walk to fulfill most of our errands. The city is putting in more and more apartments. I
take issue with that . Also, we would love to walk more, but the area of Saint Anthony, in which we live
does not have sidewalks, making it a safety hazard for my children.
Instead of choosing to put in mixed use, properties are more businesses that would allow me and
my family to walk to fulfill most of our errands. The city is putting in more and more apartments. I
take issue with that . Also, we would love to walk more, but the area of Saint Anthony, in which we live
does not have sidewalks, making it a safety hazard for my children.
safer bike paths to silverwood and shops to avoid narrow sidewalks and biking on road (for families
and slower bikers)- i don't feel safe biking on silver lake road or stinson, or hwy 88 (to get to quarry
or to roseville shops)
We already do all these things.
Please provide measurable effects for each proposed action; i.e. how many degrees of warming
would be achieved by each proposed action.
I am willing to walk to work. We use battery snowblower or clear drive way by hand. We use battery
chain saw.
Avoid stop and go traffic and stop signs to increase fuel efficiency.
It seems the city needs to step up and try to get more federal or local grants. Also, many
homeowners have moved due to increase in taxes. Stop allowing for kids that get rides out of the St
Anthony area and there parents do not pay same taxes as SMALL St Anthony area residents do?
I don’t have a car!
limit trips to store. I'm 76. There really aren't good public transportation options.
Buying an electric car for us isn't smart , since we drive minimally and our 8-year old car has many
good miles le to go.
trying to minimize trips to stores, reduce using my vehicle and maybe an electric vehicle (depending
on factors like cost , charging options)
None of the listed options are realistic for our situation
Not doing anything
I am already doing, or have done most of these. No additional actions needed.
Plug in hybrids are a great alternative especially if you have solar at your home
I would love to see the city provide electric circulating buses in the community to local clinics and
shopping areas.
Could we balance these questions with accountability on ALL venues?
electric vehicles have downsides too (environmental costs) so am unsure about embracing those
I can't think of anything. I don't drive a lot or use anything excessive in my lifestyle
