ANTHONY <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />NOVEMBER 28, 2023 <br />CALL TO ORDER. <br />Mayor Stille called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />Mayor Stille invited the Council and audience to join in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />ROLL CALL. <br />Present: Mayor Stille, Councilmembers Jenson, Walker, and Webster. <br />Absent: Councilmember Randle <br />Also Present: City Manager Charlie Yunker, Fire Captain Mattie Jaros, City Engineer Justin <br />Messner, and City Planner Steve Grittman. <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />ITEMS. <br />I. APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 28, 2023 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />Motion by Councilmember Jenson, seconded by Councilmember Walker, to approve the City <br />Council Meeting Agenda of November 28, 2023 as presented. <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITION. <br />A. 2023 Fire Prevention Poster Winners. <br />Fire Captain Mattie Jaros reviewed the Fire Prevention training provided to the schools and <br />presented the 2023 Fire Prevention Poster Winners. The theme this year was Cooking Safety <br />Starts With You. The 4th Place winner was Isabel Montoya from St. Charles. The 3rd Place <br />winner was Bernadette Urdahl from St. Charles. The 2"d Place winner was Grace Nelson from <br />Wilshire. The 1st Place winner was Josie Johnson from St. Charles. <br />Santa on the Fire Truck will be held December 10,12,13 starting at 5:30 p.m. each evening. <br />Donations for Toys for Tots will be accepted along with donations for Nourish 282. <br />B. Fire Chief Swearing In — Izzy Diaz. <br />
