ANTHONY <br />2 PARKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION MEETING <br />3 March 4, 2024 <br />4 7:00 p.m. <br />5 <br />I.6 CALL TO ORDER. <br />7 <br />8 Chair Fee called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />9 <br />II.10 ROLL CALL. <br />11 <br />12 Commissioners Present:Chair Fee, Commissioners Bakke, Guest, Holiday and Swiontek <br />13 <br />14 Absent: None. <br />15 <br />16 Also Present: City Manager Charlie Yunker, Public Works Director Jeremy Gumke, <br />17 Silverwood Park Supervisor Alyssa Baguss, Citizens for <br />18 Sustainability Representative Dan Kunitz, Code Official Richard <br />19 Sonterre and U of M Bee Lab Representative Ms. Jessica Helgen. <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 III.APPROVAL OF THE MARCH 4, 2024 PARKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL <br />23 COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA. <br />24 <br />25 Motion by Commissioner Guest, seconded by Commissioner Holiday, to approve the March <br />26 4, 2024 Parks and Environmental Commission agenda. <br />27 <br />28 Motion carried unanimously. <br />29 <br />30 IV.APPROVAL OF THE DECEMBER 4, 2023 REGULAR PARKS AND <br />31 ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES. <br />32 <br />33 It was noted on page 1 line 8 to correct to Chair Bordeau. <br />34 <br />35 Motion by Commissioner Holiday, seconded by Commissioner Bakke, to approve the <br />36 December 4, 2023 Regular Parks and Environmental Commission Meeting Minutes as <br />37 presented. <br />38 <br />39 Motion carried unanimously. <br />40 <br />41 V.PRESENTATIONS. <br />42 <br />A.43 Silverwood Parks Updates. <br />44 <br />45 Silverwood Park Supervisor Alyssa Baguss presented a Power Point presentation including <br />46 2023 Highlights, Visitor Center Art Show, Free Family Fun – Every Month, Preschool Drop- <br />47 off Series: Doodlebugs, The Art and Sport of Fly Fishing, Celebrate International Sculpture <br />48 Day, Silverwood On Stage Concerts, Silverwood Park Café, and Silverwood Rental Facilities.
