Typically, the Goals are <br />2 broader and focus on the next 3-5 years. <br />3 • Action Steps: Key priorities that City Staff or City Council focus on for the year. The <br />4 City recognizes that not all of the year's priorities can be identified at the beginning of <br />5 the year and adapts to new action items as applicable. <br />6 <br />7 Core Values: <br />8 • Trust, Service and Inclusion <br />9 o Three words that best highlight the qualities that the City Council and Staff strive <br />10 to embody in service to the St. Anthony Village community. <br />11 o These values are the basis for how decisions are made, how services are <br />12 delivered, and also ensures the City as a whole conducts itself in an accountable, <br />13 transparent, <br />14 <br />15 Mr. Yunker continued in Defining the Goals: <br />16 • Environmental Responsibility — Minimize St. Anthony's impact on the environment and <br />17 enhance resilience through action in alignment with the City's Climate Plan and <br />18 Regional, State and Federal guidelines. <br />19 • Thriving Village — A community for all residents where the City is responsive to <br />20 concerns, enables successful things to happen, and residents have opportunity to thrive. <br />21 • Informed & Engaged Community — Communicate Council priorities and department <br />22 activities to support resident's ability to actively participate, feel engaged, and understand <br />23 how their voice can be heard. <br />24 • Safe & Secure Community — Protect our community's physical and psychological safety <br />25 (individual and collective) through strategic investment in personnel and tools to provide <br />26 excellent city services. <br />27 • Fiscal & Organizational Strength — Invest in the community's infrastructure and <br />28 personnel to deliver outstanding City Services through a culture of continuous <br />29 improvement, resiliency, and responsible stewardship of resources. <br />30 <br />31 The Action Steps under each goal were reviewed in detail. The 2025 Draft Pyramid was <br />32 provided. <br />33 <br />34 Motion by Councilmember Doolan, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to adopt the 2025 <br />35 Strategic Plan as presented. <br />36 <br />37 Motion carried 4-0. <br />38 <br />39 X. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />40 <br />41 City Manager Yunker had no report. <br />42 <br />43 Councilmember Doolan stated on January 31 she took some League of Minnesota training on <br />44 Acknowledging Bias. On February 3 she attended the Ground Rounds Open House. City <br />45 Manager Yunker did a good job of having staff there. She also attended the Fire Department <br />46 Ceremony on February 3. She has scheduled Connect with the Council sessions in the multi- <br />
