<br />Electricity and Natural Gas Consumption and Trends by Sector
<br />On average, the Saint Anthony Village community consumes 60 million kWh of electricity and 4.9 million
<br />therms of natural gas across all sectors per year. Total energy consumption increased by 6% over the
<br />baseline period, which can be attributed to an increase of 7.3% in natural gas consumption and a 2.5%
<br />increase in electricity consumption.

<br />Total energy consumption during the baseline period varied in each sector consistent with variation in
<br />weather. Hotter summers (those with more cooling degree days) and colder winters (those with more
<br />heating degree days) had higher energy consumption. For example, of the three years considered, Saint
<br />Anthony Village’s natural gas consumption was at its highest level in 2022, which was also the coldest
<br />year with the most heating degree days.
