<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Memorandum of Understanding <br />Phase 2 – Plan Implementation <br /> <br />Charlie Yunker <br />City of Saint Anthony Village <br />3301 Silver Lake Road <br />Saint Anthony Village, MN 55418 <br /> <br />The intent of this Memorandum of Understanding is to recognize the achievement of the City of <br />Saint Anthony Village in developing an Energy Action Plan. Northern States Power Company <br />doing business as Xcel Energy, through its Partners in Energy offering, has supported the <br />development of this Energy Action Plan. This document outlines how the City of Saint Anthony <br />Village and Xcel Energy will continue to work together to implement this Energy Action Plan. <br />The term of this joint support, as defined in this document, will extend from May 1, 2025 through <br />November 1, 2026. <br /> <br />Xcel Energy will support Saint Anthony Village in achieving the goals of its Energy <br />Action Plan in the following ways: <br /> <br />Core Strategies <br /> <br />• Identify energy resources to share on the City’s website on energy efficiency, renewable <br />energy, and electrification. <br />• Create content for residents, businesses, and multi-family building properties to <br />engage in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and electrification. <br />• Include utility programs, rebates, financial support in a step-by-step process. <br />• Support creation of a recognition program for residents and businesses to take action on <br />energy efficiency, renewable energy, and electrification. <br />• Connect City with peer recognition programs to understand needs and options. <br />• Support creation of program parameters and application for energy elements of <br />program. <br />• Support creation of swag and promotional materials to get residents and <br />businesses to participate. <br /> <br />Support funded by Xcel Energy for this strategy is not to exceed 23 hours. These hours will <br />include those provided through the Partners in Energy team from Center for Energy and <br />Environment and does not include support provided by Xcel Energy internal program staff. <br /> <br />Energy Efficiency <br />• Create a campaign to promote the Home Energy Squad® (HES) to residents. <br />• Create outreach materials like flyers, door hangers, and postcards sharing about <br />HES. <br />• Use mapping tools to help find areas of city to target. <br />• Provide resources, materials, scripts, and swag for the city to table at events.
