Include link to website on materials created. <br />• Create a recognition program for residents and businesses to take action on energy <br />efficiency, renewable energy, and electrification. <br />• Find other peer city recognition programs to understand desires and options. <br />• Create program parameters and application for energy elements of program. <br />• Distribute swag and promotional materials to get residents and businesses to <br />participate. <br /> <br />Energy Efficiency <br /> <br />• Create a campaign to promote the Home Energy Squad to residents. <br />• Distribute outreach materials like flyers, door hangers, and postcards sharing <br />about HES. <br />• Share resources, materials, and swag at tabling events. <br />• Share content in City communications (e-newsletters, social media) to share <br />audits as the first step to energy efficiency. <br />• Create a campaign to promote building energy assessments to businesses. <br />• Share content on business energy resources with Chamber of Commerce <br />communication channels. Coordinate times for presentations at business <br />meetings. <br />• Partner with business groups to share resources. Identify champions in the <br />business community to highlight and share success stories for marketing.
