Before the bids were received, the assessments were estimated to be $1,800. After <br />4 the bids came in, the actual cost was under $1,600. She asked when notices will be sent to <br />5 residents on the amounts of the assessments for planning purposes. Ms. Koscielak stated that the <br />6 mailing prior to this meeting included the assessment amount. <br />7 <br />8 Mayor Webster closed the public hearing at 8:02 p.m. <br />9 <br />10 Motion by Councilmember Doolan, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution <br />11 25-032 – Ordering Improvements for the 2025 Street and Utility Improvement Project. <br />12 <br />13 Motion carried 5-0. <br />14 <br />b.15 Resolution 25-033 – Adopting and Confirming Assessments for the 2025 Street <br />16 and Utility Improvement Project. <br />17 <br />18 Motion by Councilmember Elnagdy, seconded by Councilmember Doolan, to approve <br />19 Resolution 25-033 – Adopting and Confirming Assessments for the 2025 Street and Utility <br />20 Improvement Project. <br />21 Motion carried 5-0. <br />22 <br />c.23 Resolution 25-034 – Awarding a Bid for the 2025 Street and Utility Improvement <br />24 Project. <br />25 <br />26 Ms. Koscielak reviewed that bids were received for the project on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, <br />27 and were opened and read aloud. Eight bids were received. The bids were checked for <br />28 mathematical accuracy. The low bid was submitted by North Valley, Inc., Shakopee, MN in the <br />29 amount of $2,531,570.55. The Engineer’s estimate was $2,683,535.00.
