Councilmember Jenson asked if there have been any <br />significant changes over the years. Mr. Dalton Herding, Hennepin County, stated that as far as <br />changes to requirements put on the City, nothing significantly has changed in many years. <br />Mayor Webster recalled hearing about the training that took place near the train tracks and how <br />possible emergencies would be handled. Residents may be interested in seeing what emergency <br />management looks like. <br />Councilmember Doolan stated it is good to do planning and renew the plans. She asked if there <br />are changes in State and Federal programs and noted this is adequate for the time being. Mr. <br />Herding stated this plan was completed late last year. The plan is in flux and some changes may <br />be challenged in the courts. Mr. Herding encouraged the City to adopt these plans. <br />Motion by Councilmember Elnagdy, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution <br />25-038 Adopting the Hennepin County All -Hazard Mitigation Plan. <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />Motion by Councilmember Doolan, seconded by Councilmember Elnagdy, to approve <br />Resolution 25-039 Adopting the Ramsey County All -Hazard Mitigation Plan. <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />X. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />City Manager Yunker had no report. <br />Councilmember Doolan stated that on April 29, she attended the 18th Annual Metro CERT <br />Event. On May 1, she attended the MN Peace Initiative. On May 3, she attended the Grand <br />Opening at What Up Dough. On May 8, she attended the Hennepin County State of the County <br />Meeting along with Assistant City Manager Morello. On May 12, she attended the Chamber of <br />Commerce Board Meeting. She attended an MWMO Board Meeting prior to tonight's Council <br />Meeting. <br />Councilmember Jenson stated that on April 23, he attended the Northeast Youth and Family <br />Services Strategic Planning Meeting and the Metro Cities Annual Meeting. On April 24, he <br />attended the Annual Chamber of Commerce Meeting. On April 27, he attended the Salo, Finland <br />Sister City Celebration. On May 8, he attended the Ramsey County Local League of <br />Governments Climate Action Subcommittee Meeting and another Program Meeting on May 9. <br />On May 9, he also attended Coffee with the Council with Councilmember Elnagdy. On May 13, <br />he attended the Chamber Meeting with Councilmember Doolan. <br />Councilmember Elnagdy stated that on April 27, she attended the Salo Finland 40th Anniversary <br />Brunch. On May 1, she presented at the Minnesota Law Enforcement Administrative <br />Professionals Annual Conference in Mankato. On May 9, she attended the Hayden Grove Happy <br />Hour Connect with the Council. <br />
