ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 NOVEMBER 25, 2025 <br />4 <br />I.5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Webster called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />II.9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Webster invited the Council and audience to join her in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />III.13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Webster, Councilmembers Lona Doolan, Nadia Elnagdy, Jan Jenson, and <br />16 Thomas Randle. <br />17 <br />18 Absent:None. <br />19 <br />20 Also Present:City Manager Charlie Yunker, Assistant City Manager Ashley Morello, Fire Chief <br />21 Diaz, and Deputy Fire Chief Mattie Jaros. <br />22 <br />23 Others Present:None. <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE <br />27 FOLLOWING ITEMS. <br />28 <br />IV.29 APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 25, 2025 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />30 <br />31 Motion by Councilmember Jenson, seconded by Councilmember Doolan, to approve the City <br />32 Council Meeting Agenda of November 25, 2025, as presented. <br />33 <br />34 Motion carried 5-0. <br />35 <br />V.36 PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />37 <br />A.38 Fire Prevention Poster Winners <br />39 <br />40 Deputy Fire Chief Mattie Jaros presented the 2025 Fire Prevention Poster Contest Winners. The <br />41 theme for 2025 was Sprinkler Your Home for a Fire Safe Zone. Deputy Chief Jaros reviewed the <br />42 Fire Department Community Programs and School Outreach. The 2024 winners from St. <br />43 Anthony Village were Claudia Sieve and Liliana Klement. They both received honorable <br />44 mention at the State level. <br />45 <br />46 The winners for 2025 were 4th Place - Gretta Carlson, Wilshire Park, 3rd Place – Felicity <br />47 Johnson, St. Charles, 2nd Place – Beatrice Lawson, Wilshire Park, and 1st Place – Louisa <br />48 Albrecht, Wilshire Park. Photographs were taken with the certificate presentations by Fire Chief <br />49 Diaz. Mayor Webster and the Council congratulated all the winners. <br />5
