ANTHONY <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />JUNE 25, 2013 <br />101M M 111X1 ; 1 DI R <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Gray, Jenson, Roth and Stille. <br />16 Absent: None. <br />17 Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, Director of Public Works Jay Hartman, City Engineer <br />18 Todd Hubmer, and Finance Director Shelly Rueckert. <br />19 Guests: Commissioner Dan Freeman (Three Rivers Park District) and Peggy Moeller, CPA <br />20 (HLB Tautges Redpath. Ltd.). <br />21 <br />22 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />23 ITEMS. <br />24 <br />25 1. APPROVAL OF JUNE 25, 2013, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />26 <br />27 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />28 Council Meeting Agenda of June 25, 2013. <br />29 <br />30 Motion carried unanimously. <br />31 <br />32 11. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />33 <br />34 A. Recognition of Service for Nick Voss, GreenCorp Member. Jay Hartman, Director of <br />35 Public Works, presenting. <br />36 <br />37 Mayor Faust requested an update regarding the June 21 stone event. <br />38 <br />39 Director of Public Works Hartman stated there was widespread loss of power throughout the <br />40 City including the City's facilities following the June 21 s` storm. He advised the City has begun <br />41 cleanup and curbside pickup throughout the City and curbside pickup will be available through <br />42 Monday, July 0. He encouraged residents to call or visit the City's website for further <br />43 information. He added the City has a list of licensed contractors for tree removal and/or tree <br />44 trimming that is available at City Hall. He commended the Police, Fire, and Public Works <br />45 Departments for their quick response and stated the departments worked well together to <br />46 mitigate hazards immediately after the storm. <br />47 <br />48 Mayor Faust asked if the streets would be swept again following the curbside pickup. <br />49 <br />
