PUBLIC HEARING - NONE. <br />V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF - NONE. <br />VI. GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL. <br />A. Northeast Youth & Family Services. Jerry Hromatka, NYFS President & CEO, <br />presenting. <br />Mayor Faust introduced Jerry Hromatka, NYFS President and CEO. <br />Mr. Hromatka thanked the City Council for the opportunity to present an update and stated that <br />NYFS serves people of all ages, but the primary population is 5-21 year olds. He advised they <br />changed the name of the organization to Northeast Youth & Family Services as a result of the <br />recent merger and changed the mission to "transforming lives today, creating a better tomorrow." <br />He discussed NYFS's three program areas including mental health, youth development, and day <br />treatment and stated that further information regarding all of the programs is on the website at <br />www.nyfs.org. He stated there has been an increase in mental health services in the school <br />setting and NYFS will need to partner much closer with the schools on that issue. He stated that <br />
