Canvass December 14,2004E lection Results. <br />The Barb Suciu, City Cleric indicated that Councilmember Faust received 649 votes, <br />Councilmember Horst received 341 votes, there were 31 write ins, 1 over vote and 3 under votes <br />for a total of 1,025. <br />Motion by Mayor Pro -tem "Chaesen, seconded by Councilmember Sti11c, to approve the <br />December 14, 2004 alection results. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />13. Consider Resoluti_o_n04 077 _A_p oy n Appouttments to flue Planning and 1'arlcs <br />Commission. <br />The resolution was amended to delete Mr. Jensen's name from the Planning Commission. <br />Councilmember Stille explained that Mr. Jensen would be integrated Later. <br />Motion by Councilmember Faust, seconded by Councilmember Stille, to adopt Resolution 04- <br />077; Approving Appointments to the Planning and Parks Commission. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />C. Consider Resolution 04-078; Atlpro_vinthe 2005 Tax Low and budget in Co, nialiatice <br />with the Truth In Taxation Act. <br />Motion by Councilmember Horst, seconded by Councilmember Faust, to adopt Resolution 04- <br />078; Approving the 2005 Tax Levy and budget in Compliance with the Truth In Taxation Act. <br />Motion carried uuauimously. <br />D. Vacant Council Seat O tip ons. <br />Mr. Morrison indicated that Council had the option of appointing someone to fill the vacated <br />Council seat for 2005 at which time the seat would be filled by election or Council could <br />authorize a special election to fill the seat. <br />
