305.05 Organization. The City Manager will appoint a secretary, who may but need not be a <br />member o£ the Commission. The Commission will hold one regular meeting every month, when <br />necessary. At the first meeting of each year, the Commission will arrange the dates of its regular <br />monthly meetings through the end of that year and elect a Chair and Vice Chair. <br />305.06 Powers and Duties. The Planning Commission will <br />(a) Review and make recommendations to the Council as to a comprehensive municipal <br />plan, including the land use plan, a community facilities plan, a transportation plan <br />and recommendations for plan adoption and execution. <br />(b) Consider and make recommendations to the Council as to all proposed subdivisions <br />and plats. <br />(c) Consider and make recommendations to the Council as to all proposed amendments <br />to Chapter 15 of this Code regarding zoning. <br />(d) Consider, hold hearings and make recommendations on conditional use permit. <br />applications. <br />(e) Review all applications for variance to zoning, hold hearings and make <br />recommendations to the Council. <br />(� Review requests for sign variances. <br />305.07 Platmin Commission F3 _1�w_s, <br />L A schedule of meeting dates shall be established and may be changed or <br />altered at any regular scheduled meeting. One regular meeting date is <br />established each month on the third Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Council <br />Chambers. <br />2. Additional meetings maybe held at any time upon the call of the Chair or by <br />majority of the voting members of the Commission or upon the request of the <br />City Council following at Least twenty-four hour notice to each member of the <br />Commission. <br />3. The Commission, at first regular meeting in January of each year, shall elect a <br />Chair and Vice Chair. <br />4. The duties and powers of the officers of the Planning Commission shall be as <br />follows: <br />A. Chair: <br />a. Preside at all meetings of the Commission. <br />b. Call, amend, or cancel meetings of the Commission in <br />accordance with the by-laws. <br />C. Before scheduled meetings, review agenda with staff. <br />
